Right now I’m: Trying to decide where I want to hang my new print from my fav etsy shop. I need this reminder on display.
Right now I’m: Drinking coffee out of my “World’s Best Boss” mug. It’s one of my favorites mainly because of the size (ie. holds a lotta coffee) and because it was a gift from one of the hubs many NY trips. It kind of makes me feel like I should shout out some “That’s what she said” one liners while I drink my joe snuggled on the couch.
Right now I’m: Wishing this weekend wasn’t going to come to an end. We had our first dose of spring weather Friday and Saturday and I am left wanting more! Also, I don’t think I really realized how much stress I have been under lately until we attended an adults only birthday party on Friday night. There were lots of back yard games in the dark that were hilarious. I mean HA-larious ya’ll. We have some super funny and creative friends that make life a blast. I have a huge grin on my face just thinking about the evenings festivities. Sometimes you just really need to let loose.
Right now I’m: Thankful that it’s spring break! We don’t have much on the agenda this week except for the Zoo and time with friends. I’m learning not to over schedule all my free time.
Right now I’m: Reading this. I’m only a few chapters in but it is so refreshing and encouraging. It might be a book I need to read every few months just to remind myself of a few things. I’m also reading any book I can get my hands on that pertains to “Ethiopia” and “Adoption”. I just finished this. And this. So eye opening and I now feel like I have a better understanding of the African Aids crisis. It is about a woman who turns her home into an orphanage and welcomes some of the thousands of children in Addis Ababa who have been left as orphans. Next up I am reading this. What have you read lately?
Right now I’m: Super excited that my in-laws are on their way back from a Trader Joe’s run. They go all the way to Texas to pick up my Trader Joe favorites for me! Ok, so maybe they go to get their own goodies but they generously allow me to give them my “want list”.
Right now I’m: About to head out the door to go see this documentary! Check to see if it’s playing in your area.

I read The Connected Child and found some really useful info in there. I also read Launching Your Baby’s Adoption and it was great for infant-specific attachment stuff. Glad you’re seeing STUCK! It was in.cred.ible. We’d be on a plane to Africa tomorrow if we weren’t so busy with the African babies we already have! 🙂 Bring tissues.
