One of the things I love about Noonday is that adoption is a big part of the company! Noonday started as a way for Noonday’s founder Jessica Honneger and her familly to fundraise for their own adoption. Even though their adoption is now complete, adoption still remains at the heart of the company!
When you host a Noonday trunk show you get a percentage of your sales in free Noonday product. So fun right?!?!? Well if you are adopting or have a friend who is adopting you can do an adoption fundraiser. Insead of earning free jewelry and accessories from your trunk show you can get a percentage of your sales in a check to go towards your adoptiong fees. I love this part of Noonday and it was one of the reasons I wanted to be a part of such a great company!
Since becoming an ambassador a few months ago I have had the priviledge to be apart of two adoption fundraisers through Noonday. Last week was my second adoption fundraiser and it was for one of my new friends, Julia. We met at the end of the summer at our school’s two day conference and mostly have gotten to know each other through our blogs and in passing as we are dropping the kiddos off at school. Julia is one of the sweetest people I know and she is also super FUN!! She has two adorable little girls and they are in the process of adopting a little boy from the Dominican Republic of the Congo. I was so glad I could be a part of her story and help her bring her son home to his forever family! It was such a fun night of woman coming together to support Julia and her family and blessing them with one of their final fundraisers for their adoption.
They will hopefully get to travel to pick up their son in the next few months. I can’t wait to be at the airport and get to welcome this sweet little boy home!
You can follow along with their story here!
